Available filters include dispensing category, galenic form, remedy code, mono or combination preparation, active ingredients and marketing authorisation holder.
Results are listed alphabetically by medicinal product designation, showing the smallest package in each case. From a selected result, short information, the articles available on the market and a link to compendium.ch provide access to the professional information, product information, photos, the CDS profile (Clinical Decision Support), Swissmedic health professional communications and similar products for substitution and generics searches.
Reimbursement categories follow the BAG Specialities List, for example SL (on the Specialities List), SL G (generic per BAG), SL O (original per BAG), LIM (limitations) and LP (LPPV). Swissmedic dispensing categories range from A+ (narcotics) and A, B, C to D.
