Key BenefitsDrug Pricing Germany Plus H3 is an optional supplement to the German drug pricing data. It contains all the information required for the milligram pricing of parenteral solutions in accordance with Appendix 3 of the price listing of substances and preparations from substances (Hilfstaxe).
The data is updated every two weeks. The source is AVOXA ABDATA, Eschborn, Germany. Access requires the Drug Pricing or Premium subscription package.
The module delivers milligram prices for parenteral preparations, where applicable case-related depending on whether aut idem is allowed.
It provides the billing factors and substance details needed for the calculation, including the substance quantity per PZN and the molar mass of the substance.
Carrier solutions are provided as groupings (subgroups) with their prices and discount factors, together with the settlement rules and the factor for calculating the discard limit.
The data is maintained by AVOXA ABDATA in Eschborn and updated every two weeks.
Parenteral solutions, including cytostatic preparations, are not priced like standard finished medicinal products. Their reimbursement is governed by Appendix 3 of the price listing of substances and preparations from substances (Hilfstaxe), which sets out how milligram prices, billing factors and discard quantities are to be applied.
Pricing at the milligram level requires more than a list price. It depends on the substance quantity per PZN, the molar mass of the substance, case-related aut idem rules and the grouping of carrier solutions, each with its own prices and discount factors.
Plus H3 consolidates these elements into one dataset, so that teams calculating or verifying prices for parenteral preparations can work from a single, regularly updated source aligned with Appendix 3 of the Hilfstaxe.
